Course Overview:
In this course you will learn to bring your preferred theoretical approach and AAP into your work with clients. You will be going beyond the theories and developing treatment plans and strategies that integrate theory and AAP concepts into a cohesive whole
There is a lot of reading at the start of this course, in order to provide a substantial amount of information about integrating animals in a myriad of ways. Hopefully it will help you see how a variety of animals can be integrated into various settings with many client populations! These reading assignments will provide you with a foundation but you will be using your own creativity and innovation to apply the ideas to your work.
You are among the pioneers in the AAP field and your thoughts in these areas are forming the foundation for our field. This is true post-graduate work; it will require your educational foundation as well as your practical experience and a lot of imagination to move forward.
We are excited to see where this takes you!
